This small and fragrant shrub originated in the Mediterranean area. It is considered helpful for headaches, migraines, and overall fatigue as it provides an effective boost to weak blood circulation and digestive systems affected by emotional anxieties. It improves digestion and is also known to be an excellent deterrent of lice.
Preparation and usage:
For colds, headaches, throat inflammation and diseases of the digestive system prepare a tea by adding about two teaspoons to a cup of boiling water sweetened with honey allowing it to steep for about three minutes before drinking.
To keep lice away make a rosemary rinse by pouring 1/4 gallon boiling water over about 2 ounces of the herb, allow it to steep for about 15 minutes before straining it through a mesh strainer or colander. Use fluids to thoroughly rinse clean hair.
